Intergo wins second framework agreement with EMSA

19/11/2020 - EMSA (European Maritime Safety Agency) is aiming for a high level of maritime safety in the European Union. One of the activities to achieve this is to offer training on maritime safety investigation.

This week, INTERGO - International Centre for Safety, Ergonomics & Human Factors, signed the second framework agreement contract with EMSA for further expansion of Maritime Casualty Investigation training. The first contract, signed early 2019, provides for Basic and Advanced courses in casualty investigation. These courses started last year and are in full swing, during the pandemic they are held online.

The second framework agreement is providing for specific incident investigation training on digital information. Information gained from Voyage Data Recorder (VDR), Electronic Chart Displays (ECDIS) and other resources.
